Why install a metal roof? The cost of a metal roof can be substantially more than a premium asphalt roof; the truth is, metal roofs can actually save you money over time, increase the value of your home, and at the same time be pleasing to the eye and the environment. Metal roofs reflect heat, cutting your utility bills up to 40%! With our professional metal commercial roof installation, you will never need to re-roof again!
Capsheet
Capsheet refers to finishing the commercial roof with a final "cap" top layer of roll roofing which is surfaced with reflective white ceramic granules. The commercial roof to be covered must have a good slope, positive drainage and a relatively smooth surface. Application is critical to assure tight seams, and a sheet layout which avoids water bucks and seam-on-seam lapping.
Rock surfaced roofing usually consists of built-up layers of fiberglass roofing felts and hot asphalt. The roof is finished with a surfacing of hot asphalt and crushed rock. The built-up layered construction allows it to be used on low sloped roofs. But the roof structure must be able to support the considerable weight of the rock without causing the deck to sag. By using various combinations of different weight felts, the life expectancy and durability of felt/rock roofing can be suited to each roofing problem and price range.

Research the best types of roofing available today before deciding on a roof. Popularity of metal roofing in particular has increased in the last few years, with a variety of metal roofing materials and products available on the market, such as steel, copper, aluminum and alloys. When working with a roofing company go over some possible designs and styles. Ask what types of tools he or she will use, as well as any software to develop plans and forms. If you want siding installed at the same time, inquire about cost and materials, and other details on styles, such as seamless siding, panels, or roof coatings to prevent leaks. When deciding how to find a roofing company approach friends and family to see which certified contractors they recommend. Or, look online to find pre-screened roofing contractors. You want to make sure they are licensed and have several years of experience in roof installation, whether for commercial businesses or residential homes. Inquire whether the professional is part of a local, national or international company and if the contractor has any affiliations. Ask for pricing and a timeline in writing. Check out roofing contractor websites to research complaints, reviews and ratings about a certain contractor; make sure the contractor you are considering is certified and has the proper license and insurance; check out standard contract forms; find out which commercial or residential roofing material is the best to prevent leaks; search for roofing contractors in your area that specialize in roofing repairs; and learn which roofing materials are available on the market, such as tiles, single ply, copper, siding, rubber, shingles, metal, water proof, wood, steel, and slate. Before choosing a roofing company keep in mind the professional's location, availability, rate, insurance, certification, complaints or reviews, and reputation in the business.
